Ilam Park

A side view of the Hall

We spent Sunday afternoon walking in the lovely grounds of Ilam Park in the Peak District. The estate is owned by the National Trust, but the hall is now leased to the Youth Hostels Association (what a lovely place to stay!). We spent a lovely couple of hours in the grounds, walking, playing in the autumn leaves and enjoying the beautiful views. We finished off the afternoon with a (rather chilly) picnic tea in the car park!
