After visiting the Ladybird by Design exhibition we walked down to the sea front. The Podlings had a lovely time on the beach and the girls had fun dodging the waves and throwing pebbles into the sea, Naturally it was Emma who was first to get her feet wet.and once she got splashed by one wave she threw all caution to the wind and decided to go paddling with her shoes on!
One of the things we like to do when we are 'down South' is to get fish and chips with a named fish. Mark and I are both fond of Huss and you just can't seem to get it where we live now. We took our fish and chips back to sea front to eat them. The Podlings had another quick play on the beach before we set off for the long drive home. We managed to pack a lot into our short trip to Sussex and we had a wonderful weekend. It is so nice to go adventuring together!
